Johannes Paul Olszewski
is a dreamer, self taught filmmaker and continuously in a rush. Grown up in a suburb of Munich under the defining experience of classical music (his father was an orchestra musician) he first learned how to sell television sets after leaving school early. His greatest realization back then was the privilege to know what you don’t want in life. He survived the three year long retail training by cofounding the One Inch Dreams GmbH, entering the outdoor world and thereby getting introduced to film.
Johannes is a visually strong narrator who creates dark, dramatic and powerful moving images. His impulsive compositions emerge straight from his heart, setting the right tone, pace and focus by intuition.
